TeachPlug is a directory, not an agency. We verify who tutors are, then get out of the way.

Search free, with no account
Choose a subject and a teaching mode (onsite, online, or either). If you want onsite lessons, add your district. You never need to sign up or pay.

Compare verified profiles
Results show each tutor's subjects, languages of instruction, availability, experience and district. Rates appear when the tutor chooses to publish them.

Send one private message
Fill in the contact form with your name, email, subject of inquiry and a short message. We email it to the tutor — their address stays hidden from you.

Continue directly with the tutor
If interested, the tutor contacts you using the details you provided. Everything from that point on happens directly between you and them, off the platform.
What is and isn't verified
Our admin team checks each tutor's full name, gender, nationality and listed diplomas/certifications against documents they email us. Years of experience, availability and rate are provided by the teacher and are not independently verified. TeachPlug is not responsible for lessons, payments or arrangements made directly between you and a tutor.
